Year 9 Celebrate Hispanic Day

Hispanic Day is celebrated world wide on 12 October and is a national day and a public holiday in Spain. As a part of celebrating this day and also the end of the topic “Food” Year 9 Spanish class presented their dialogues in Spanish “Ordering food at a restaurant”.
Then we shared some Spanish food- homemade churros with chocolate sauce, almendrados (Spanish almond cookies), hojaldritos (puff pastries).
It was a lovely way to celebrate Hispanic day and also the end of half term.
