Wow! What an incredible week it has been for our talented Year 5 & 6 pupils, who put on three spectacular performances of Porridge!

The show kicked off on Monday with a fantastic matinee performance, where they entertained their peers and welcomed children from other schools. Then, on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, they took to the stage once again, dazzling their families and performing in front of audiences of over 100 people each night!

From learning lines to mastering songs and dance routines, every one gave it their all, and their hard work truly paid off. The energy, enthusiasm, and dedication they brought to the stage was nothing short of amazing!

Of course, a production like this wouldn’t be possible without an incredible backstage team. A huge thank you to Magnus and Mr Wakefield for expertly managing the lighting and sound, ensuring the show ran seamlessly. We are also incredibly grateful to our fantastic parent helpers, who gave up their time to assist with costumes and makeup—you really brought the characters to life!

And, of course, none of this would have been possible without our brilliant directors, Mr Baines and Mrs Burtt-Jones. Their creativity and hard work made this production the triumph that it was.

A massive WELL DONE to all of Year 5 & 6—you have truly shone on stage, and we are so proud of every single one of you!
