Year 3&4 Hockey at the Senior School

In the Summer term, it was lovely to welcome Year 3 and 4 pupils up to the Senior School for an afternoon of Science in our specialist laboratories to start experiencing life at the Senior School. This term, they were invited to join our Lower School pupils for the morning, taking part in a Lower School Reflection and enjoying the use of our sports facilities  and instruction of Mr Reid, our Head of Physical Education, for a two hour taster session on our artificial pitch.

We are ‘one school’, and even though moving between sites at the end of Year 6 is a natural part of growing through the years, we aim to make the transition as smooth and enjoyable as possible for both pupils and parents. Consequently, when children make the move into Year 7, they feel comfortable and look forward to ‘moving up’ with their friends, along with the pupils that join Windermere School from many other locations.
