Windermere School Boarders Hit the Mark with Archery Fun!
13 January 2025
This weekend, our boarders at Windermere School enjoyed an action-packed archery session. Starting by learning how to use the bows and arrows. Under expert guidance, the pupils learned the fundamentals of archery, from how to handle the equipment safely to mastering their aim.
The adventure didn’t stop at just hitting targets; they took it up a notch with a playful twist! Donning padded gear, the pupils had a blast aiming arrows at one another (safely, of course) in an archery showdown. The highlight of the day? A few daring pupils balanced apples on their heads while their friends aimed to hit the fruit! It was an afternoon filled with laughter, excitement, and a touch of competitive spirit.
But the fun doesn’t end there! Next weekend, our boarders will lace up their skates and glide into a new adventure as they head to Blackburn for an exhilarating ice-skating trip.
Stay tuned for more updates on the boarders’ weekend escapades. Who knows what thrilling activity they’ll try next?
