We are thrilled to announce the grand reveal of our newly renovated Sixth Form study centre! Thanks to the remarkable dedication of our Sixth Form students and the unwavering support of our staff, this space has undergone an incredible transformation, becoming a place where students can work, relax, and feel a sense of pride and ownership.

Our Sixth Form students  fundraised for this project themselves. Over recent months, they’ve organised a series of initiatives, including bake sales and the upcoming Parent & Guardian Sailing Day. With each event, students not only raised money but also built a stronger community spirit.

Before the half-term break, our students took on the first step of the project by rolling up their sleeves and pulling out the old carpet themselves! This marked the beginning of two intense weeks of renovation over half-term, during which our dedicated staff, alongside the incredible Lottie, stepped in to bring the vision to life. Through their hard work, they’ve created a truly special space.

We want to extend our deepest thanks to the staff members who invested their time and skills over the break to make this transformation possible. An especially heartfelt thank you goes to Lottie, who contributed her amazing talents in every way—from planning and painting to ensuring each detail aligned with the students’ needs. Her incredible vision and tireless efforts have created a welcoming environment that we know will inspire current and future students alike.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Friends of Windermere School. This project’s success was made possible by their generous donations and unwavering support. The Friends of Windermere School are a treasured part of our community, and their hard work and kindness make an incredible difference in everything we do. Thank you for being such an invaluable part of our school family.

The new study centre is a blend of functionality and comfort, providing Sixth Formers with a dedicated place to study, unwind, and connect. It’s a space that reflects their hard work, their creativity, and the collective spirit that made this project possible.
