Sunshine and Team Spirit Shine in Year 7 & 8 Cross Country
10 October 2024
This morning, our Year 7 and 8 pupils took on the next round of the much-anticipated inter-house cross country, tackling the iconic Orrest Head. The day began with crisp, cold air and gloriously sunny skies – the perfect backdrop for such an energetic event.
In an exciting twist, our Year 5 and 6 pupils were waiting at the summit to cheer on their older peers as they made their final dash across the finish line. Their support gave an extra boost to the runners, and the sense of camaraderie between Junior and Senior school pupils was truly heart-warming.
Each and every participant put in an amazing effort, pushing themselves up the challenging ascent. Congratulations to Strickland House, who once again emerged victorious! The dedication and teamwork displayed by all our houses made it a fantastic event.
A huge thank you goes out to Mr Dolman and the PE department for organising such an incredible morning!
