Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome Michael and Rachel who spoke to our pupils from Years 10-13 about the exciting apprenticeship opportunities available within BAE Systems. It was a fantastic chance for pupils to engage, ask questions and gain valuable insight into career pathways beyond Windermere.

Rachel delivered an inspiring talk to our Sixth Form students, highlighting how the International Baccalaureate (IB) prepares them to stand out in the job market. She emphasised how elements such as CAS (Creativity, Activity, and Service) help develop well-rounded individuals—something highly valued by employers.

A huge thank you to Rachel and Michael for taking the time to share their expertise and inspire our pupils. Their visit sparked thoughtful discussions and provided an invaluable glimpse into the world of apprenticeships and career possibilities after school.
