An Uplifting Morning with Destiny Africa Children’s Choir

This morning, our school had the privilege of welcoming the Destiny Africa Children’s Choir to our morning reflection, and it was an experience that will resonate with us for a long time! Their performance was nothing short of spectacular. By the end of the morning, every single person was up on their feet, singing, clapping and dancing along. It was truly a joyous and energising start to the day.

The choir’s performance went beyond entertainment—it was a powerful, inspiring experience for our pupils. The children of Destiny Africa represent more than just their choir; they bring awareness to the invaluable work of the Kampala Children’s Centre. Through a video presentation, we got a glimpse into the impact of this centre and the efforts of its volunteers, who dedicate themselves to supporting vulnerable children in Kampala, Uganda.

Destiny Africa Children’s Choir, along with their youth band and worship team, speaks up for children who might otherwise go unheard. Their mission is to showcase the beauty, dignity, and limitless potential of African children, becoming a voice for millions of young people who cannot speak for themselves. Proceeds from the choir’s tours go directly toward vital needs: education, healthcare, career guidance, recreational activities, and other essential support for the children.
