A Festive Day to Remember at our Junior School!

On Wednesday, 28 November, the Junior School was abuzz with excitement as we celebrated a truly special day packed with fun and festivity! Our morning kicked off with a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch, organized especially for our amazing pupils from America. The feast was a delicious spread of turkey, fresh vegetables, and an incredible assortment of desserts that had everyone coming back for more, the tables were adorned with Christmas Crackers, bringing joy and surprise to everyone.

The celebration felt even more special as we were joined by some of our American siblings from the Senior School, who made the occasion all the more meaningful. It was heart-warming to see the smiles as everyone shared in this tradition.

Later in the day, the festivities continued as our Year 6 pupils were given the important task of decorating our huge Christmas tree. With help from Mr Baines and Mrs Aspinwall, and cheerful Christmas music playing in the background, the children adorned the tree beautifully. The results were stunning and filled the room with holiday spirit!

We would like to extend a very special thank you to Mr and Mrs Buckley, some of our wonderful Junior School parents, who generously donated the magnificent tree. Your kindness and thoughtfulness have truly made this festive season unforgettable.

The entire day was a beautiful blend of gratitude, teamwork, and holiday cheer—a perfect way to kick off the festive season in our Junior School. Here’s to more joyous moments as we head into December!
