Forest School, at home
19 November 2020
One of the most amazing things about living in and around the Lake District is that nature is all around us. As part of their home learning this week, Year 2 headed out into their gardens, local parks, woodlands, and fields in order to continue their study of microhabitats.
After discussing the type of habitat different creatures were suited to and the various materials they might need, the children began construction of their own bug hotel.
Well done Year 2, isn’t it exciting that you will be able to watch closely as your hotel becomes ever more popular over the next couple of weeks.
