Meet Jo, Head of Alumni & Community
Jo Gaskin is our wonderful Head of Alumni and Community, bringing her passion and dedication to the Stannite community every day. Jo first joined Windermere School over 12 years ago as a Primary School teacher and quickly fell in love with the school and its community. Since then, she has worn many hats, including Deputy Head of the Junior School—a role she cherished for many years—before stepping into her current position in 2024.
A true local, Jo has called The Lake District home for more than 20 years. When she’s not working to connect and support our alumni and wider community, you’ll find her running, exploring the fells with her dog George, or more often – at Homeground café with a latte in hand!
Jo’s warm and approachable nature makes her the perfect point of contact for all things Stannite. Whether you’re an alumnus, a parent or someone who’s been part of Windermere’s journey, Jo is here to support you. From organising events to fostering meaningful connections, she plays a vital role in celebrating and strengthening our extraordinary community.
