Exciting Self-Defence Sessions with Activ8

We were thrilled to recently welcome Activ8 Self Defence from Lancaster to our PE lessons. Pupils in Years 7 – 9 had the unique opportunity to participate in self-defence sessions during their PE classes, where they learned various martial arts techniques and strategies for protecting themselves in a safe and non-harmful way.
In addition to these enriching lessons, Activ8 also generously ran an after-school club that was open to all pupils, giving everyone a chance to try their hand at self-defence. The sessions provided a fantastic introduction to what Activ8 has to offer, sparking interest and enthusiasm among many of our pupils.
A huge thank you to the entire Activ8 Self Defence team for being so engaging, inspiring and making this experience so enjoyable for our pupils. We look forward to continuing this exciting partnership!
