Windermere School Boarders Jump Straight Back into Action!
10 September 2024
The new school year has kicked off with a splash at Windermere School, as boarders wasted no time in diving back into life on the lake. On Saturday, 8 September, our boarding pupils enjoyed a fantastic water sports day and BBQ at Hodge Howe, our water sports centre.
It was a perfect day for fun and adventure, with pupils making the most of the stunning lakeside setting. They embraced activities like kayaking, canoeing and sailing, while some simply enjoyed the thrill of jumping off the jetties into the refreshing water.
This action-packed day was not just about fun—it also provided the ideal opportunity for our boarders to settle back in, reconnect, make new friends and get a taste of the Windermere experience. The combination of outdoor adventure and a relaxing BBQ ensured everyone felt at home from the very start.
As the sun set on the event, spirits were high, and it was clear that this year at Windermere is already off to an incredible start!
